According to the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Weekly Influenza Surveillance Report during the week ending November 19, 2022:
- Laboratories tested 72,730 specimens for influenza, of which 15,455 (21%) were positive, a 32% increase over last week.
- The number of patients hospitalized with laboratory-confirmed influenza was 819, a 23% increase over last week.
- All 62 counties reported cases this week (December 2, 2022)
